The Negroni is a classic Italian cocktail known for its bold flavors and striking color. Originating in Florence in the early 20th century, it was created by bartender Fosco Scarselli at the request of Count Camillo Negroni. The Count wanted a stronger version of his favorite cocktail, the Americano, so Scarselli replaced the soda water with gin, and the Negroni was born. This cocktail quickly gained popularity for its perfect balance of bitter, sweet, and aromatic flavors.

With its vibrant red hue and complex taste profile, the Negroni is a staple in cocktail culture. It’s a favorite among those who appreciate a sophisticated, spirit-forward drink that’s both simple and refined. Served traditionally with a twist of orange, it’s a timeless choice for any cocktail enthusiast.

The Negroni offers a rich, aromatic profile with a distinctive bitter edge. On the nose, the complex aromas of Campari and sweet vermouth combine with the herbal notes of gin. The first sip reveals a bold bitterness from the Campari, balanced by the sweetness of vermouth and the crispness of gin.
